Ricardo is an industrial civil engineer in electronics, MBA with studies in digital transformation and machine learning at MIT. He has more than 25 years' of experience in innovation and technology applied in mining processes, project management from the identification of solutions, analysis of technical and economic feasibility, and implementation. He is currently regional director of the digital practice for Hatch in South America and was formerly manager of technological innovation for Barrick Gold. He is co-representative for Latin America of the Global Mining Guideline Group (gmggroup.org).
