Nicolas is a geologist, with studies in oil, gas and mining governance from the University of Oxford, specialist in EIA project management and financial engineering from Eafit, with more than 28 years of experience in gold exploration. In the 1990s, he participated in the discovery of the first Cu-Au porphyry in the Middle Cauca belt. Exploration director of Mineros SA for 11 years and more recently he spent 11 years as country exploration manager of IAMGOLD in Colombia. He is now country exploration manager of Zancudo Metals.
