Julian is a geologist from the University of Caldas-Colombia with 20 years of experience in exploration. He has master’s degrees in geological sciences and in project management, from the University of Barcelona. He has directed exploration projects in Colombia for Mineros and Gran Colombia Gold. His main achievements in exploration have been the discovery and interpretation of the new Marmato deposit with 5.5 Moz Au and the increase in resources for the Segovia and Remedios Mining District of 2 Moz Au . He is currently exploration manager for Aris Mining.
