Dr Chris Grainger

Chris is a geologist with +25 years of international experience with a focus on grassroots and brownfields exploration, resource definition and development with a focus on precious- and base-metals in South and Central America and the Caribbean. Chris has a PhD in economic geology and over the past 10 years has worked in Colombia and been associated with significant team discoveries and commercially succesful transactions including Continental Gold (Initial due diligence of the asset portfolio, including the recognition of the world-class Buritica Au-Ag deposit, aquired by Zijn Mining (11.4 Moz AuEq for US$1.4B, Cordoba Minerals (identified and consolidated the San Matias Cu-Au district including the Alacran Cu-Au deposit (currently 100Mt @ 0.7% CuEq) aquired by HPX, and co-founder of Collective Mining (identified the Guayabales project that led to the consolidation of the northern Marmato gold district.
